Description¶

MS123.PosSizers is a library of money management methods for Wealth-Lab version 5.6 and higher. It currently includes the following techniques to size positions:

The Extension file is available to download from our site (Wealth-Lab.com) after registration and logging in. You can find its zipped source code by clicking on "Attachments" on top of the page. Note! As there were breaking changes to PosSizer configuration strings, it's recommended that existing users will delete WealthLabConfig.txt before using!
See the User Guide > Data > Where data are stored for the file location. Make sure hidden file visibility is enabled in Folder Options of your Windows.

2010.07+

• Added: Position options - "Round up to the next highest N share" option.
• Fixed: Position options - a few bugs

• Added: new PosSizer - Withdrawal - to simulate the effect of withdrawing a fixed sum of money on a monthly basis
• Added: new PosSizer - Larry Williams method
• Added: Position options - "Max entries per day" option. Works in any bar scale. For intraday trades, it sums up positions taken during the day.
• Added: "Pct Winners (% Equity)" - option: use rolling percentage of winners based on user-specified number of last trades (requested by mikesblack)
• Changed: Percent volatility - ability to enter a percentage smaller than 0.1
• Removed: "Secure F" - despite fixing a few bugs/issues, the formula is producing suspiciously large percentages. PosSizer demoted.
