Description

The DecisionPoint Price Momentum Oscillator (PMO) is double smoothed oscillator based on 1-day Rate of Change with a custom smoothing process.

Interpretation

Similar to MACD. The Price Momentum Oscillator oscillate around zero line, so positive readings indicate a bullish trend and vice versa. Crossovers of the PMO with the center line can generate buy and sell signals.

Being normalized, the PMO can also be used to rank stocks as a relative strength tool.
